Winter Photography

I haven't blogged in a while because I haven't been able to do very many portrait sessions - but, I realized I can still blog about what I have been doing!

I don't have my own studio space so I rely on the Mother Nature - and since I live in New England, sometimes it takes a little longer for her to get her act together. But, I haven't stopped shooting! I have been taking workshops with Hunt's Photo and Video and Boston Photo Workshops on various subjects. And (!!), I was able to do a mentoring session with Meredith Jane Photography - can't wait to share those images!

Also, the winter is a great time to practice indoor, macro photography. I LOVE LOVE LOVE shooting all types of flowers and might have a problem when it comes to buying fresh flowers - just ask my husband! I am fortunate enough to live near some truly amazing local florists Cedar Grove Gardens and Lopez the Florist - they have just some of the most beautiful flowers to choose from and oblige me when I ask for a bunch of single stem flowers! Also, I found out about this amazing company The Bouqs Company - you can order fresh flowers straight from eco-friendly, sustainable farms all over the world and they show up on your doorstep a few days later. So, not only are they gorgeous, they last longer, too! This has been a great option for me to get flowers that just aren't in season yet here in New England.

So, here are some of my flower images for your viewing pleasure. All images are available for purchase through my Fine Art Prints and Products page.

Enjoy!
